Homes for Our Troops

In 2021, the Improved Order of Red Men and Degree of Pocahontas adopted Home For Our Troops as a National Charity. To date, we have raised $100,000 assisting post- 9/11 Veteran’s recipient with fundraising to begin January 1, 2022.

Homes For Our Troops seemed a natural fit as a supportable charity for the Improved Order of Red Men and Degree of Pocahontas based on our precepts of Charity and Freedom. Charitably supporting those veterans who fought for the freedoms we all enjoy.

Homes For Our Troops (HFOT) is a publicly funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post-9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. Since its inception in 2004, 90 cents out of every dollar spent have gone directly to our program services for veterans.
